SteamGPT is Reportedly in the Works for Support and CS2 Anti-Cheat

According to new datamined information, Valve is seemingly working on SteamGPT to help with support and CS2 anti-cheat.

Steam just released a Workshop Beta update that adds quick-view previews, smarter filtering tools, and faster page updates to enhance the mod browsing experience. Now, it seems the devs at Valve are working on an AI-based tool that could help with other tasks across the platforms.

Dataminer Finds Mentions of SteamGPT

Reliable Steam dataminer Gabe Follower recently posted on X (formerly Twitter) about discovering ā€œSteamGPTā€ in the code. This new AI-based tool is believed to assist with support on the platform and is reportedly connected to the Trust Score and anti-cheat measures for CS2. While Valve has not officially announced any updates regarding this feature, if it is indeed in development, it will likely be introduced in Steam Beta first.

Steam is consistently working to enhance the user experience for all players on its platform. Recently, the platform announced it was working on a feature that provides players with framerate data, based on information collected from users playing the game on similar configurations. However, with the datamined new AI-based tool, implementation will be the most important, as audience reception will depend on how well it manages support and other requests.
