Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II coming to Switch 2

Publisher Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II eShop in Japan for 5,478 yen each. A bundle is also available for 6,820 yen. In the west, each game will launch digitally and physically as individual titles for $59.99, and digitally only as a bundle, on October 1. In Japan, a game-key card physical bundle will be available on the same date as the western release.

Octopath Traveler first launched for Switch on July 13, 2018, followed by PC on June 7, 2019, Stadia on April 28, 2020, Xbox One and PC on March 25, 2021, and PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on June 5, 2024.

Octopath Traveler II first launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on February 24, 2024, followed by for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on June 5, 2024.

The Switch 2 versions of each title feature improved resolutions and frame rate, and are not compatible with save data from the Switch versions. There is also no upgrade path from the Switch versions.
