“Order of the Sinking Star simply wouldn’t exist without the incredible designers who helped work on it over the years,” said Thekla founder Jonathan Blow in a press release. “By creating a kind of game design supercollider, we were able to bring together ideas from some of the most brilliant puzzle designers in the industry. I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to help us push the limits of what’s possible in a puzzle adventure. We can’t wait for players to step into this world and discover just how deep and complex it really is.”
Blow continued, “Order of the Sinking Star showcases design contributions from Alan Hazelden (Skipping Stones to Lonely Holmes, Mirror Isles), Sean Barrett (Promesst), Jonah Ostroff (Heroes of Sokoban), Zach Polansky (Enigmash), Patrick Traynor (Patrick’s Parabox), Marc ten Bosch (Miegakure), and several others—including design contributions from Twitch followers over the years.”
