For our longstanding Metro-dwellers, now has never been a better opportunity to return to the Metro tunnels. To relive the story, the action and feel the weight of the cold foreboding tunnels stretching ahead of you, filled with unknown horrors and adventure. So, what have we done? This is not a full remaster or remake—the original Metro Redux experience and aesthetic has been preserved—but we have made careful, meaningful improvements to take advantage of the latest PC and console hardware. All platforms will include support for 4K textures, bringing greater depth and atmosphere to the haunting world of Metro. The update enhances gameplay immersion through improved animation fidelity, higher-quality audio and richer environmental detail. We have also managed to implement a range of community led bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
