Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Alpha Demo survey results announced

Publisher released the results of the Alpha Demo survey for Three Kingdoms action RPG sequel

Here is the summary in brief:

In the Alpha Demo—which was available between Sept. 16 and 30, 2026—fans were able to get a first glimpse at the open field of Changban, joining forces with Liu Bei’s army in fierce battles against the pursuing armies of Cao Cao. Following the completion of the Alpha Demo, fans were invited to complete a survey to provide feedback. A report has now been compiled following the survey, detailing improvement plans for the title’s full release.

Firstly, as a result of survey responses, the complexity of the Insight Skill system will be addressed, with a focus on improving its success detection. Additionally, the Spirit system’s gain and loss balance will also be reworked, while Martial Arts and Wizardry Spells will be made stronger. These modifications will enable greater freedom in Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember‘s combat system, encouraging players to take a more aggressive approach during battles. Furthermore, optimization will be improved, including upgrades to graphics and faster loading times.

Here is the full list of main planned improvements:

• Player Actions
  • Unify the Insight Jump and Insight Aerial Skill responses to Critical Blows so that the resulting action changes based on the enemy’s state.
  • Widen the timing windows for successfully landing Deflects and Insight Skills.
  • Make adjustments so that successfully performing an Insight Skill restores more Spirit.
  • Add skills and special effects that reduce the Spirit cost of your next action after successfully performing an Insight Skill.
  • Make adjustments so that you can perform a Fatal Strike on an enemy in Spirit Disruption via a successful Insight Skill, even if they are no longer nearby.
  • Improve the homing performance of the Insight Jump toward locked-on targets.
  • Improve the hit range and homing performance of aerial attacks, making it easier to hit airborne enemies.
  • Increase the amount by which Strong Attacks and Martial Arts reduce the enemy’s maximum Spirit gauge.
  • Add a skill that preserves your Quick Attack combo count when you successfully perform a Deflect or Insight Skill.
  • Increase the Spirit damage dealt by Strong Attacks based on how many Quick Attack hits preceded them.
  • Review Wizardry Spells with limited uses, and improve the performance of those spells.
  • Add Wizardry Spells that can be cast while airborne.
  • Adjust the performance balance of Divine Beast Manifestation.
  • Add a Warrior official website.
