A major Pokémon Champions bug blocks Pokémon Home transfers, leaving Pokémon stuck in limbo. Players have shared their experiences with the glitch. Still, there is no solid fix at this time.
The launch of Pokémon Champions hasn’t been a smooth one. The game launched today on the Nintendo Switch, and a player has put in a massive bug that occurs when trying to transfer Pokémon between the Pokémon Home app and the new game.
Justin “AzazeL” Carris shared on Twitter that Pokémon being transferred from Home to Champions get stuck in limbo. An error code comes up when trying to transfer the Pokémon, sending the players back to the title screen. Then, you are no longer able to try to trade the Pokémon that you sent to Champions, as they are listed as visiting the game.
“I spent hours and hours cultivating the Pokémon I would be sending to my copy of Champions so that I could start grinding the game, recording footage for videos, and getting a grasp of the meta for my coaching & consulting businesses,” said AzazeL.
He also responded to players accusing him of hacking his Pokémon, calling the accusations frustrating, given that he has been outspoken about not doing so.

According to Kotaku, Some players were able to resolve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling Pokémon Home. Another player reached out for support to address the issue and was given instructions on clearing the game and the system’s cache. Still, there is no solid solution for the problem thus far.
