Security cameras observation game
Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 first launched for PC on May 25, 2023.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
Welcome to the future. The Primate Observation Club is looking for new members, and your job is to observe strangers through hidden cameras, investigate their lives, and uncover the secrets behind what you see. But be careful: the Club has strict rules, and interfering with your subjects can have consequences.
In Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099, players monitor surveillance feeds, gather information, connect clues, and decide whether to remain passive observers or intervene in the lives of the people they watch. All the while, they must manage their own needs and finances in a society where privacy is a thing of the past.
Since its PC release in 2023, Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 has earned praise from critics for its distinctive premise, engaging storytelling, and darkly humorous take on mass surveillance. The game holds an 81 Metascore on Metacritic, with critics highlighting its memorable characters, narrative depth, and compelling blend of investigation and resource management.
Now, console players can join the Primate Observation Club and discover the secrets waiting behind the cameras for themselves.
