Japanese government grant projects reveals oriental-style action game FUJI from Koei Tecmo, more

The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry recently announced the results of its “IP360” project—which provides large-scale, long-term, and strategic support to achieve the goal of increasing overseas sales of Japanese content to 20 trillion yen by 2033—including new game projects from companies like Koei Tecmo and others.

Notable projects receiving government funding include:

• Applibot – A new action game intellectual property called Project Needle, with a unique world based on Japanese history, for consoles and
