About the Base Game
Hell Clock is a combination of action RPG depth and roguelike speed, and a dark retelling of Brazil’s late 19th century War of Canudos. Play as Pajeu and descend into Purgatory and Hell, equipping Blessed Gear, Unique Relics, and powerful Skills in a fight against the demons of Brazil’s past, present, and future. The magical Hell Clock ticks, restricting how much time Pajeu can spend in the depths and reviving him each time he falls.
About the Expansion “Cursed War”
The “Cursed War” expansion explores another chapter in Brazilian history: the Paraguayan War, a conflict between Paraguay and the Triple Alliance of Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay fought from 1864 to 1870. Relive Pajeu’s fateful past as a soldier, before the events of the base game and his return to Canudos.
